Many country-style kitchen accessories can be found at flea markets and garage sales. An old butter churn or an iron skillet can help create a look that reminds everyone who enters of years gone by at grandma’s house. As long as the accent or trivet looks like a relic from a long time ago, it will be perfect for this type of décor.

In a country decorating theme, common colors include golden yellow, blue, dark green, brown, and rustic hues such as dark red or rust. If you’re looking for lighting with charm, there’s nothing better than a wrought-iron chandelier. Although most chandeliers wouldn’t work in a country décor, this style is neither too elegant nor too dressy. Hung over the table, this type of fixture will only add to the comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
